Passion

Hi guys.  I'm the one you know as pokermaniac.  I got into bitcoins around last November or December.  Made my first bitcoin after I traded up some doge coin.
I'll just cut to the chase.  I dont have a sob story.  I have a burning fire inside of me.  I have the passion to do good for the world.  To become someone.  To make a difference.  I am 18 years old, just graduated high school.  I am currently not attending college or holding a job.  I have tourettes syndrome and anxiety, its hard for me to do both.  I missed 3/4ths of my school days in highschool and switched to online school my Junior year.  I never liked jobs, I always thought I could beat the system.  Worked at a pizza place and walmart, couldnt last over two months for either.
I can't persistantly keep with anything in my life.  I give up on everything I do.  Except for one thing.  The desire to make a difference.  I had a mini epiphany a while back when I was at an all time low, and was thinking to myself about life and purpose.  I think the purpose of our lives is who we help and hurt on our journey.  Weather we believe in a God and an afterlife, or just to pay it forward.  I think to myself who have I helped and who have I hurt.  I think who have I hurt the most.  What would they say about me.  What about the person I have helped the most.  What if I were to not be here tomorrow.  Would I have made a positive difference?  What would people say about me.
I know that's all crazy.  I think about so many things.  I am a very unique individual.  Some people call me retarded.  I prefer special.  It is better to live outside of the box, right?  I think so!  I love this community.  You guys bring me joy and laughter.  Like i said the other day, you guys finish what i start, my jokes haha.  I guess this time I'm asking you to start something for me and let me finish it.  I do not have any money.  I guess you all saw this coming.  I do not want to be thought of as a beggar.  Just an opportunist.  Life happens fast, if you dont take a minute and look around, you might just miss it.  So I am putting myself out there to you guys.
What I am trying to say is, is that I truly believe I have the unique desire to make a difference in this world.  I am on my way to a great life, and I hope i can lead others in the right direction on my way.  I just want to leave you with one thing.  When I am on this site, I see bets.  Bets of 1 BTC, 2 BTC, 50 BTC.  I feel physically sick to my stomach when I se this kind of money thrown around.  I pray these people can afford it, and if they can more power to them.  But that kind of money can change lives.  It could change my life.  I want to leave you all with this.  The next time you think you are going to make a stupid bet (come on, we all do it) just think.  Could this money be used better elsewhere?  I know I could have done something better with my losses.
Cheers.

  1. after read this article the only thing that i can give you as advice is that if you want to make a difference, you must try to never quit, persistence is a key in most of the humanity creations, always try to see risk that you are taking not only the reward, like you said about thinking to make a stupid bet "we all do it" yes i think that almost all dicers have think about making a stupid bet, the problem is not about not thinking with stupid bets, YOLO or whatever, the problem is doing the bet, people don't should bet what they can't afford to lose. I know it is a very hard task.

In other hand remember that some people got in bitcoin in very earlier stages and trusted in the concept those people have lots of coins and sometimes someone can think that they are blowing all their coins and that is not the case even if you see lots of bitcoins involved.
